Important information
Whilst every care is taken in firing your work, please remember that handmade ceramics can be subject to cracking during the firing process which is outside of our control. Weston Cottage Pottery cannot be held responsible for technical failure of equipment, breakages or unexpected outcomes as this is the nature of ceramics. Clay is a natural substance and glazes are of a chemical make-up, different clay bodies and glazes will react and produce different outcomes based on any number of variances in their use and application.
In the case of damage to the kiln, including but not limited to shelves, elements, ceramic bricks and thermocouple, due to incorrect information (such as firing range or clay body), incomplete drying before firing or use of volatile or fluid glazes you will be held liable for the cost of damages.
