After teaching art for 17+ years at GCSE and A level, I have decided to finally focus on giving my own creativity an outlet. After years of painting, felting, sculpture, (you name it I’ve done it) I finally found my passion in ceramics after taking a chance course in Stoke on Trent, the home of pottery. I have fallen in love with the mindful, tranquillity that I find when I’m at the wheel as well as the ability to create both functional forms and more artistic pieces. From hand building to throwing to techniques and glazes the possibilities are endless!

 

I'm now lucky enough to have my own small pottery studio, thanks to my long-suffering partner Chris where I can make ceramic items to sell and also share my passion by teaching others to make their own creations! As a lifelong educator I believe that everyone can and should have a creative outlet in their life.
