Family, children and teens
Working with your hands develops fine moter and problem solving skills whilst developing creativity and use of imagination. Explore a range of fun sessions for all the family and sessions to support and develop budding young potters.
Children's clay club
A fun filled, teacher led children's pottery club session focusing on hand building skills. This 1.5 hour session will allow children to build on their fine motor skills to gain knowledge and confidence when working with clay whilst socialising with their peers.
Minimum age is 7 years old
Teens clay days
Spend a creative day getting hands-on with clay in this fun ceramics workshop designed especially for teenagers. You’ll learn the basics of shaping, building, and decorating your own ceramic pieces while experimenting with different techniques and tools.
Sessions are available during half term and school holidays
Young clay makers
Held every other Saturday morning. These sessions are designed for ongoing learning for keen young potters and are not stand alone sessions. Students can develop a breadth of knowledge and skills such as slab building, coiling, collaring, developing form enabling them to develop more complex vessel shapes.
Minimum participant age is 12 years old and the maximum age 16 years old.
Family pumpkin making
You’ll explore using pinch pots to craft your own small hand-built terracotta pumpkin. Along the way, you’ll learn key making skills and simple decorative methods, including carving and adding three-dimensional details. Perfect for autumn displays, Halloween décor, or thoughtful handmade gifts.
Minimum age is 5 years old.
Private children's sessions
For all private children's pottery sessions please complete a contact form and I will call you to discuss your party needs and size. If you have a particular project in mind then do let me know and I will do my best to accommodate this in the session.
Minimum number of 5 participants (7+ minimum age) £125, each additional student will be charged at £15pp up to a maximum of 12.
