Course information

This 1 hour session is for intermediate and advancing potters that have attended previous classes or workshops and wish to continue to develop their skills or projects on their own. Additional wheel time can be added to extend your booking. Whats included? The use of tools and equipment. This is a self directed session. Please note: This covers the cost of hiring the wheel/space and use of tools and does not include the cost of clay, firing or glazing. Other lessons or workshops maybe running at the same time. This is not a suitable session for beginners or production potters and is meant as time to hone skills and practice your creativity. Stoneware clay is used within the studio space, clay can be purchased as needed on site, if you are supplying your own clay then please supply the brand and firing temps before using. If you wish to use other clay types or need to store work between sessions then this can be discussed. Firing can be arranged of your work at the studio and is charged per cubic CM as an example a mug of 12cm x 14cm x 10cm (including handle) would cost £4 inclusive of bisque and glaze fire. PACEMAKER: All potters wheels (every brand) are potentially harmful to a person who has a pacemaker you must seek information and guidance from your doctor.
